13th December: Teddy / Victoire
2018
"Shoot me," murmured Ted exhausted. He settled beside Victoire fall on the bed and closed his eyes.
Victoire rubbed his eyes. She had woken up five minutes ago. And Ted had come five minutes earlier from the hospital home. "That bad?" She asked sympathetically. She ran her fingers through his hair tenderly and watched with a smile as his dark brown hair was blue again.
"I do not know how people do that," murmured Ted. "Any fall from the roof, while others get burned while cooking and someone has managed to swallow half a chicken." Victoire suppressed a laugh. His stories were always the best. "All the time any potions are out. We could not brew fast enough. "
Victoire looked at him sympathetically. Ted looked at his night shifts from always terribly tired, but as exhausted as today they had never seen him before. He had dark circles under the eyes and not even managed to undress.
"My poor darling," she said tenderly, and went on his cheek. She could feel his beard stubble.
"Sorry" he mumbled, half asleep already. "We wanted to open our presents yet."
She shook her head, although he could not see. "We pack up later." It is the twenty-fifth December, and actually it was tradition, the gift was equal to unpack in the morning. She had this tradition very much and are already looking forward to it for the first time to celebrate alone with her boyfriend, with whom she lived together at last, but, as Ted looked at the moment, he probably would have fallen asleep in the tree. She kissed him on the cheek. "I wake up in a few hours."
Ted was already asleep. Victoire was fishing in her wand from the bedside table and took a snap of that Ted his clothes were stripped and folded neatly on a chair landed. Then she pulled the blanket out from under his body and covered him with it. She shook her head. She was always amazed at sleep as hard as he could. She kissed Ted again on the cheek and then stood up. You got dressed and went into the kitchen of her small apartment to begin with the Christmas dinner. She had gotten a few recipes from her mother, who wanted to try it now. Her parents had her and Ted suggested that they could celebrate together at her parents' house, but had refused Victoire. It was the first Christmas of her and Ted, since they finished Hogwarts and had lived with him. She just wanted to spend with Ted.
And now her friend was sleeping like a stone because he had gotten the short term or a night shift gerd moves on the eye. They had not actually presented.
Sighing, she turned on the radio because they hoped thereby to get into the Christmas spirit. It actually worked. After a while she hummed along even as they happily peeled potatoes. Startled, she screamed
on, when she felt someone put his arms around her.
"Sorry," whispered Ted. "I did not want to scare you." He took the knife and the potato in the hand that Victoire fright had dropped. He began to peel, although he could hardly see it. But he already had so many ingredients peeled for potions that he would fix it now even in my sleep.
"Have you slept?" She asked, leaning against him. Shaking his head, she watched me, as the perfectly peeled potato. They looked at the potatoes, which they had shelled. She had not succeeded half so well. She was just not a good cook.
"Something like that," said Ted. "I want my first Christmas with you oversleep not here. Tomorrow is another day for that. "
Victoire sighed. She should insist that he lay down again and correct sleeping off. But she was selfish and wanted to spend time with him. "Maybe you should cook," she said with a view of the potatoes.
"And maybe," Ted put down the knife and turned it to be around, "we should leave the cooking to be easy." He kissed her passionately. Victoire clung to him. She felt suddenly very shaky.
"But," she potestierte breathing heavily, as Ted had a few minutes later, satisfied grin dissolved by it. "The food has to be finished yet. Today is Christmas and as always we have at home - "
Ted shook his head and put his finger on her lips. "We are no longer with you home. We can use our have their own traditions. And when we say shit on the food, let thaw a frozen pizza and spend the day in bed, then that's fine. "
Victoires eyes began to shine on. "This is a fantastic idea." She sank into another kiss. "But before we agree to pack more of the gifts," she added enthusiastically.
